Welcome to our first blog! It is a season of change, even literally as the leaves begin to fall and the weather turns crisp and chilly. Professionally, we have a new blog, facebook page (find us at Creekside Family Dentistry) and twitter account (follow us at twitter.com/burdickdental). We love what we do here at Creekside Family Dentistry, and we are grateful that we have a way to communicate about it in a new way.
In our family, the change involves our oldest daughter (in the center of the family pic) joining International Justice Mission in Bolivia. We miss her but we are so grateful that she gets to fulfill her longtime dream of pursuing missions in South America. The change in our family also involves our middle daughter (on the far left) starting her freshman year at Taylor University in Indiana. Somehow Indiana didn’t seem so far away until we started trying to get her home for the breaks. We miss her, and we’ll get her home, but it’s more complicated than it was getting our oldest daughter home from college in Wheaton! We are envious of our friends whose kids are going to school in Colorado, but … managing to be grateful that she gets to experience such a great school like Taylor. Now our youngest (on the far right) is an only child at home and she’s doing a great job of putting up with us.
